Merle L. Fuller School Accountability
Report Card (SARC)
Q: What is a School Accountability Report Card?
A: The Educational Accountability System was signed into law as part of Prop 98 in 1988. It required each school to file an annual School Accountability Report Card, which would allow parents, the Department of Education, and taxpayers to compare an annual snapshot of schools. This document is submitted to the California Department of Education, posted on the Web site, and distributed to parents and community members in an attempt to further the partnership that makes our schools strong.
The California Department of Education (CDE) recently changed the access for SARCs. Please click on the link below which will direct you to the CDE website. Once there you can type Chowchilla into the search bar. A list of schools related to Chowchilla will appear. Click on the appropriate school's PDF icon and the PDF file will open for you which displays our SARC. Once you open the PDF you may translate the PDF into another language by choosing the desired language from the drop down box towards the upper right corner.
